Drift for 10 seconds, and the page ripples.
No block and no guilt: a calm nudge, one tap back, and +25 XP for coming back.
Sound familiar?
- The blank page.Starting the draft feels bigger than writing it.
- Research that never ends. One fact check becomes twenty tabs and no new words.
- Every ping is a way out.Email, news and messages are one click away from the hard sentence.
How DoppiNow helps
Each one has its own page, with every detail.
Make the page smaller
“Break it down” turns “Write chapter 3” into four or five small first steps you can edit, each worth +5 XP when done.
Tiny steps: how it worksPark the research
“Park a thought” saves the idea and “Park it” saves the tab. Both wait in your Later list while you keep writing.
Park it: how it worksA pause before the feed
Add your usual escapes to “Distracts me”, and opening one during a session shows a short breathing pause first. Going back can earn +10 XP.
Doorway pause: how it worksPick up where you stopped
Leave “start with the café scene” at the end of a session, and DoppiNow shows it the next time you type that goal.
Note for future you: how it worksGuess, then see
Guess how long a section will take. The recap shows the real time and your usual multiplier, so plans get more honest.

A setup to try
- Pick the Art Studio world.Your canvas fills with color as you focus. Same rules, studio words.
- Add your writing app.Put the site you write in on “Part of my work”, so the draft always counts as focus.
- Start short.A 25-minute session is easier to begin. Go longer once the draft is moving.

Quick answers
Does research count as focus?
Research that fits your goal does: each tab is checked against what you’re writing. If a page looks off topic but you need it, mark it as related in one tap for the rest of the session.
Can I use it with Google Docs or Notion?
Yes, in Chrome. Add the site you write in to your “Part of my work” list, and it never gets a reminder. Pages on that list are decided on your device, so they aren’t sent anywhere for a check.
Does it see what I browse?
Your game lives in your browser, and your account keeps session summaries, never the pages you visited. During a session, and only if you allow smarter page checks, a few details about the tab in front of you are checked against your goal. The full text of a page is never sent. See Privacy by design.
Is it a treatment for ADHD?
No. DoppiNow is a productivity tool, not a treatment. If you think you might have ADHD, talk to a qualified health professional.
