DoppiNow for students with ADHD

Study in the browser without losing the afternoon: a lecture that fits your goal counts as focus, a feed gets a calm nudge, and coming back pays XP.

Drift for 10 seconds, and the page ripples.

No block and no guilt: a calm nudge, one tap back, and +25 XP for coming back.

Sound familiar?

  • One video becomes an hour. You open YouTube for a lecture and surface three recommendations later.
  • The deadline feels far, until it isn’t.Hours slip by with no sense of how long you’ve worked, or how long is left.
  • Starting is the hardest part. The essay looks like one big wall, so even opening the document feels heavy.

How DoppiNow helps

Each one has its own page, with every detail.

  • Lectures count, Shorts don’t

Each tab is checked against your goal, so a calculus video counts while you study calculus. Shorts, Reels and TikTok count as a drift unless you turn that rule off.

Goal-aware tab check: how it works
  • Back to the second you left

Drifted from a lecture into Shorts? One tap reopens the video at the second you left it.

Back to where you were: how it works
  • A wall becomes small steps

“Break it down” turns “Write the history essay” into four or five small first steps you can edit, each worth +5 XP when done.

    Tiny steps: how it works
  • Time you can see

DoppiNow’s icon becomes a ring with the minutes left, so time stays in view without checking a clock.

    Time ring: how it works
  • A streak that forgives

Ten minutes of focus keeps your streak alive, and streak savers cover a missed day, so one bad day doesn’t wipe out a good week.

A setup to try

  • Pick the Art Studio world.Your canvas fills with color as you study, layer by layer, until it blooms. Same rules, studio words.
  • Name the topic, not the chore.“Photosynthesis notes” tells DoppiNow more about which pages fit than “study” does.
  • Add your course sites.Put your school’s learning platform on “Part of my work”, and it never gets a reminder.

Quick answers

Does DoppiNow block YouTube while I study?

No. DoppiNow never blocks a site. A video that fits your study goal counts as focus; one that doesn’t gets a calm reminder, and you decide what to do.

What if it gets a page wrong?

Mark the page as related or not in one tap, and your mark wins for the rest of the session. Sites you always study on can go on your “Part of my work” list.

Does it see what I browse?

Your game lives in your browser, and your account keeps session summaries, never the pages you visited. During a session, and only if you allow smarter page checks, a few details about the tab in front of you are checked against your goal. The full text of a page is never sent. See Privacy by design.

Is it a treatment for ADHD?

No. DoppiNow is a study and productivity tool, not a treatment, and it doesn’t replace medical care or support from your school.
