# DoppiNow > DoppiNow is a Chrome extension that turns focus into a game for people with ADHD, free for 7 days and then $3.99/month or $29.99/year. Every focused minute earns XP, unbroken focus builds a combo multiplier, coming back after drifting pays a +25 XP bonus (the first 8 times per session), and distracting pages get a gentle nudge (the page ripples like water) instead of being blocked. Its main number is the Comeback ring: the focus minutes reclaimed after coming back from a distraction, a ring that closes once you have reclaimed as much as the distraction took. Users pick one of five worlds: Sea, Space & Engineering, Art Studio, Business or Academic. Key facts: - What it is: a Chrome (Chromium) extension plus a web dashboard with focus charts. - Comeback ring: the focus minutes reclaimed after coming back from a distraction: DoppiNow’s main number. The ring closes once you have reclaimed at least as much focus as the distraction took. It shows live in the popup, as the headline of every session recap, at the top of the Progress page and first on the web dashboard. - Who it is for: people with ADHD or anyone who struggles with task initiation, time blindness and online distraction. - How it works: write one goal, pick 10, 25, 50 or 90 minutes (or open-ended); DoppiNow checks whether each tab relates to the goal and nudges you back when it does not. - It never blocks websites. Watching a calculus video while studying calculus counts as focus. - Game rules: 10 XP per focused minute times a combo (x1 to x5 after 30 unbroken minutes); a checkpoint every 5 focused minutes that may hold a reward box; daily streaks with streak savers; three daily quests; 12 badges. - Price: a 7-day free trial with no card, then $3.99/month or $29.99/year (DoppiNow Monthly or DoppiNow Yearly, the same features); cancel anytime; payments through Paddle. - Account: required, Google sign-in only; it starts the free trial, keeps your progress and powers the web dashboard (the Comeback ring, days focused, minutes per day, best hours). - Privacy: finished sessions (times, minutes, XP and, if you allow it, the goal) are saved to your account for the dashboard; smarter page checks are off until you allow them, and then, only during a session, the goal and page details (site name, page type, address, title, main heading, short description, channel name, search terms) may be sent to DoppiNow’s server, which checks them with a classification service and doesn’t store them. The full page text is never sent. Card payments go to Paddle, never to DoppiNow. No ads, no selling data. ## Comeback ring: DoppiNow's main number The Comeback ring shows the focus a user reclaims in a session after coming back from a distraction, as "N min reclaimed". Drifting is expected with ADHD; DoppiNow measures the comeback. You close the ring by winning back the time a distraction took. - How it counts: time on a page away from the goal starts it (a glance under 2 seconds does not count; choosing "Not now" at a doorway pause does). The first related page after it is the comeback, with or without a reminder. Every focused minute after that counts as reclaimed. - How the ring fills: the minutes reclaimed divided by the minutes away, up to a full ring. No time away means a full ring ("Clean run"). Time away with nothing reclaimed yet leaves it open ("Come back to close it"). Some minutes reclaimed, but fewer than the time away, fill it part of the way ("Keep going to close it"). Once the minutes reclaimed reach the time away, it closes ("Ring closed!"). - What never counts: breaks, neutral pages and time outside Chrome. Reclaimed minutes are part of the focus minutes, never extra on top of them, and they earn no extra XP. - Example: 10 minutes of focus, a 3-minute drift, then 15 more minutes of focus: 25 minutes of focus, 15 of them reclaimed. 15 minutes reclaimed is more than the 3 minutes away, so the ring is closed. - Where it shows: live in the popup during a session, on the page after a comeback, as the headline of every session recap, at the top of the Progress page (today, the last 7 days, in all) and first and biggest on the web dashboard, with the change from the previous range. - Other focus apps such as Forest, Freedom and Focus Bear measure time focused or blocked; their sites describe no measure of focus regained after a distraction (checked October 2026). - Learn more: https://doppinow.com/features/comeback-ring/ ## Pricing and account - Free for 7 days, then $3.99/month or $29.99/year.
