Quick answers

Does this use AI?

Yes, when you're online. DoppiNow's server asks an AI service to write steps for your exact task. If there's no connection, or it takes more than a few seconds, the splitter uses its built-in recipes for common jobs like emails, studying, paperwork, calls and cleaning instead, so it always works.

What happens to the task I type?

When you press Split it, the task (up to 120 characters) goes to DoppiNow's server over an encrypted connection. The server removes email addresses and long numbers, asks an AI service to write the steps and sends them back. DoppiNow doesn't store your task or link it to you. The finished steps may be kept for up to an hour, so the same task gets the same steps. More in the privacy policy.

Why break a task into tiny steps?

A big, fuzzy task is hard to start, especially with ADHD. A small, concrete first step is easier to begin, and each tick is a little win. Read more: how to start a task with ADHD.

What do the chili peppers mean?

How small the steps get. ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ gives about 4 steps, ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ about 6, and ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ 8 or more tiny ones for days when even starting feels hard.

Is my list saved?

Yes, on this device only, in your browser's storage. Your list is never uploaded: only the task goes to the server, to write the steps. Clear it any time with the Clear button.

Is it free?

Yes. No account, no ads, no limits. You can copy the list as text or print it.
