What it does in your browser

The main parts. Each has its own page, with every detail.

Why it never blocks

Blockers help plenty of people, and if hard walls work for you, use one. DoppiNow is built for a different pattern. A block often catches the useful page too, like a tutorial on YouTube or a thread you need, and a wall can turn into a puzzle to get around.

So DoppiNow keeps your goal in view, notices a drift, and makes coming back quick and rewarding. You stay in charge of every tab. More on the idea in website blocker or gentle nudge?, and side by side with Forest, Freedom and Focus Bear in the comparisons.

Key facts

What it is
A Chrome (Chromium) extension plus a web dashboard with focus charts.
How it works
Write one goal, pick 10, 25, 50 or 90 minutes (or open-ended); DoppiNow checks whether each tab relates to the goal and nudges you back when it does not.
Blocking
It never blocks websites. Watching a calculus video while studying calculus counts as focus.
Comeback ring
The focus minutes reclaimed after coming back from a distraction: DoppiNow’s main number. The ring closes once you have reclaimed at least as much focus as the distraction took. It shows live in the popup, as the headline of every session recap, at the top of the Progress page and first on the web dashboard.
Price
A 7-day free trial with no card, then $3.99/month or $29.99/year (DoppiNow Monthly or DoppiNow Yearly, the same features); cancel anytime; payments through Paddle.
Platforms
Desktop Chrome 120 or newer (other Chromium browsers such as Edge or Brave may also work). No phone app yet.
Privacy
Finished sessions (times, minutes, XP and, if you allow it, the goal) are saved to your account for the dashboard; smarter page checks are off until you allow them, and then, only during a session, the goal and page details (site name, page type, address, title, main heading, short description, channel name, search terms) may be sent to DoppiNow’s server, which checks them with a classification service and doesn’t store them. The full page text is never sent. Card payments go to Paddle, never to DoppiNow. No ads, no selling data.

Quick answers

What’s the best Chrome extension for ADHD?

It depends on what helps you. If you want hard walls, a blocker such as Freedom does that. If you want focus to feel like a game, with XP, combos and a calm nudge back instead of a block, that’s what DoppiNow is built for. Our comparisons lay out the differences, with sources.

Does DoppiNow block websites?

No, never. During a session it checks whether each tab fits your goal. A drift gets a calm card with one tap back, and you can always carry on.

What does it see in my browser?

Your game lives in your browser, and your account keeps session summaries, never the pages you visited. During a session, and only if you allow smarter page checks, a few details about the tab in front of you are checked against your goal. The full text of a page is never sent. See Privacy by design.

Does it work in Edge, Brave or on a phone?

Desktop Chrome 120 or newer (other Chromium browsers such as Edge or Brave may also work). There’s no phone app yet; the website’s free tools work in any modern browser.

How much does it cost?

7 days free with no card, then $3.99/month or $29.99/year, with the same features in both. Cancel anytime.

Is DoppiNow a treatment for ADHD?

No. It’s a productivity tool, not a medical device or treatment. If you think you might have ADHD, talk to a qualified health professional.
