Terms of use

Using DoppiNow

These terms cover the DoppiNow Chrome extension and the website at doppinow.com. By using either, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use DoppiNow. The free tools on doppinow.com (the timers, the task splitter and the quiz) work without an account and stay free.

Your account

  • DoppiNow needs an account. You sign in with Google, and you're responsible for your Google account's security.
  • You must be at least 13 years old, or older where local law requires it.
  • An account is for one person. Please don't share it or make extra accounts to restart the free trial.
  • You can stop using DoppiNow and delete your account at any time (see Deleting your account).

The free trial

Your free trial starts the first time you sign in and lasts 7 days (168 hours). It includes everything, and you don’t need a card to start it. Each person gets one free trial.

When the trial ends and you haven't subscribed, DoppiNow locks: no new focus sessions can start (a session that's already running can finish). Nothing is lost. Your XP, streak, history and settings are kept, and you pick up where you left off as soon as you subscribe. You can still see your dashboard while DoppiNow is locked. If you subscribe during the trial, your paid plan starts right away and the trial ends.

The subscription

  • DoppiNow Monthly: $3.99 a month. DoppiNow Yearly: $29.99 a year. Both include every feature.
  • Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout, depending on where you live.
  • Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders: you buy the subscription from Paddle, and Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase. Paddle handles payments, taxes, invoices and payment questions.
  • Auto-renewal: your subscription renews on its own at the end of each month or year, and Paddle charges your payment method for the next period, until you cancel.

Cancelling

You can cancel anytime on your plan page (Manage subscription), or through the link in Paddle's receipt email. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for: you keep full access until then, and you won't be charged again. After that, DoppiNow locks as described above, with your progress kept.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Paddle under its buyer terms. If you live in the EU or the UK, you may have a legal right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days; Paddle's buyer terms explain how it applies to a subscription you've started using. If something went wrong, email us at hello@doppinow.com and we'll help you sort it out with Paddle.

Price changes

We may change our prices. If the price of your subscription changes, we'll tell you at least 30 days before, by email or on your dashboard. The new price applies from your next renewal after that, and you can cancel before it does.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account on the Plan and account page of your dashboard. If you have a subscription, deleting your account cancels it right away, without a refund for the rest of the period, and then deletes your account and synced data for good. If we can't reach Paddle to cancel it at that moment, nothing is deleted, and we'll ask you to try again a little later.

Changes to DoppiNow

We keep improving DoppiNow, so features may change, and things may occasionally break. We'll do our best to keep your data safe and the service running, but we can't promise it will always be available.

Not medical advice

DoppiNow is a productivity tool. It isn't a medical device, and it doesn't diagnose, treat or cure ADHD or any other condition. Our articles are general information, not medical advice. If you think you might have ADHD, or you're considering a change in treatment, talk to a qualified health professional.

Fair use

Please don't misuse DoppiNow. That means no attacking or overloading the service, no trying to access other people's data, and no reverse engineering it to harm others. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your content and ours

Your goals and focus data are yours. You allow us to store and process them only to run the service for you, as described in our privacy policy. The DoppiNow name, design, worlds and articles belong to us. You're welcome to link to our articles and quote short parts with a link back.

No warranty, limited liability

DoppiNow is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data or missed deadlines. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for DoppiNow in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top, and for important changes we'll tell you on the dashboard before they take effect. If you keep using DoppiNow after that, the new terms apply.
