Focus dashboard

The focus dashboard is DoppiNow's web view of your sessions, on the DoppiNow account you sign in to with Google. It leads with your Comeback ring, the focus you reclaimed after distractions, then shows how many days you focused, minutes per day, a 16-week calendar, your best focus hours, where your session time went and your recent sessions.

How it works

  1. Sign in with Google

The only sign-in option. Your account starts the free 7-day trial.

  2. Linked for you

Signing in from the extension links it, and finished sessions sync to your dashboard.

  3. Comeback ring first

A big ring for the range: the focus you reclaimed after distractions against your time away, with the change from the range before.

  4. See your patterns

Minutes per day, days focused, a 16-week calendar, your best focus hours and recent sessions.

  5. Pick a range

The last 7, 30 (default) or 90 days. Only you can read your data.

All the details
  1. You sign in with Google on doppinow.com ("Let's start" in the menu: step 1 adds the extension, step 2 is "Sign in with Google to start your free 7-day trial") or from the extension, which opens the same page. It's the only sign-in option, and every DoppiNow account needs it. Coming from the extension, the next page ("Connect") links the extension in that browser by itself and says "You're all set โ€” your free trial has started", with the days left and "You can close this tab"; without the extension it offers Add to Chrome. Just looking? The sample dashboard shows example data first.

  2. The header greets you by first name, with your Google picture, a plan chip ("Free trial", "DoppiNow Monthly", "DoppiNow Yearly", "Trial ended" โ€ฆ), your world, and your level and rank. During the trial a banner says "6 days left in your free trial" (on the last day, "Last day of your free trial") with Subscribe. Once the trial has ended without a subscription, a card says "Your free trial has ended. Subscribe to keep going โ€” your XP, streak and history are saved." with See plans, and your charts stay visible. A "Your plan" card near the bottom names the plan, what comes next ("Renews on โ€ฆ", "Ends on โ€ฆ") and links to the plan page ("Manage subscription" once you pay).

  3. The date range is the last 7, 30 (the default) or 90 days, and the page remembers your choice.

  4. Summary numbers:

    • the Comeback ring comes first, in the biggest tile: a big ring with the focus minutes you reclaimed after distractions in the range (see Comeback ring). It fills with the minutes reclaimed against your time away in the range and closes once they match. Beside it: how the ring stands ("Ring closed!", "Clean run", "Keep going to close it" or "Come back to close it", or "No sessions yet" for a range without sessions), the minutes reclaimed and away, and the change from the previous range. A ? button explains it: "Close it by winning back the time a distraction took."
    • minutes focused in the range, with the change from the previous range
    • days focused, and how many reached the 10-minute goal
    • your current and best streak, as of your last synced session
    • the average on a focus day, and the number of sessions
  5. Charts and lists:

    • Focus minutes per day, with the 10-minute streak line; tap or hover a day to see its focus, sessions and the minutes it reclaimed
    • Days you focused, a 16-week calendar
    • Your best focus hours, by the hour a session started
    • Where your session time went: Focus, Away and Break
    • Recent sessions: the last 8, showing when, goal, focus, reclaimed (with a small Comeback ring for each session), on-track %, comebacks and XP, with โœ“ for completed sessions. "Show more sessions" loads older ones. On a phone, each session becomes a small card, so every number stays in view.
  6. Arrow keys move through the chart bars and the calendar days, and "Show table" adds a table under the daily and hourly charts. Calm mode keeps everything still.

  7. Only you can see your sessions. DoppiNow's support staff see only account details and counts, never your goals or the pages you visit.

Settings: Sign in with Google (every DoppiNow account needs it). Signing in from the extension links it; the home page's "Link it" works too. Linked browsers are under Plan and account.

Why it helps with ADHD

Progress monitoring improved goal attainment, especially when progress was recorded (Harkin et al. 2016).

No study has tested DoppiNow itself. DoppiNow is a productivity tool, not a treatment for ADHD.

Focus dashboard: common questions

Do I need an account to use DoppiNow?

Yes. You sign in with Google once (no password to make), and that starts your free 7-day trial. The dashboard comes with your account.

Is the dashboard included?

Yes, in the free trial and in both plans ($3.99/month or $29.99/year). After a trial ends without a subscription, you can still see your history here.

What's the big ring at the top?

Your Comeback ring for the range you picked: the focus you reclaimed after coming back from a distraction. Close it by winning back the time a distraction took. Drifting happens; coming back is what counts.

Who can see my sessions?

Only you. DoppiNow's support staff see only account details and counts, never your goals or the pages you visit.
