Session recap
The session recap is the summary DoppiNow plays in the popup after a session ends. It counts up your XP and splits it into focus, comebacks, bonus and rewards. Its headline is the session's comeback ring, shown every time. It fills your level bar, lists new badges and asks for a note for future you.

How it works
After a session
It plays the next time you open the popup, within 12 hours.
Comeback ring first
The headline: the sessionโs Comeback ring, its minutes reclaimed in the middle and its state, like โRing closed!โ. Then XP counts up: focus, comebacks, bonus and rewards.
Level and badges
Your level bar fills and new badges are listed.
Extras
Tiny steps done, your time guess against the real time, and a note for future you.
Go again
โAnother voyageโ starts the same goal at the same length.
All the details
It opens the next time you open the popup after a session ends, if that's within 12 hours.
If the timer ran out, the title is "Harbor reached! โ", "Moon reached! ๐", "Masterpiece done! ๐ผ๏ธ", "Launched! ๐" or "Top of the class! ๐", depending on your world. If you ended early, it says "Voyage logged.", "Flight logged.", "Piece saved.", "Build logged." or "Notes saved." under "EVERY MINUTE COUNTS".
Right under the goal, the headline: the session's large comeback ring with "12" and "min" in the middle, "โฉ Comeback ring" beside it and a line for its state (see step 8 and Comeback ring). Then a big XP number counts up, split into focus, comebacks, bonus and rewards. Rewards covers badges, boxes opened, quests, tiny steps and doorway choices.
The level bar fills from where you started, including any level-ups, and new badges are listed.
Extras: tiny steps done, your time guess against the real time, how many things you parked, and "Note for future you".
"Another voyage", "Another flight", "Another piece", "Ship another" or "Another study session" starts the same goal at the same length, with the countdown. "Close" closes the recap.
When a timed session finishes, Chrome also shows a notification with the XP.
โฉ Comeback ring. Its minutes are the focus you reclaimed after you came back from a distraction. Once some of the session's time went to a page away from your goal, the first related page after it starts the count. From then on, every focused minute of that session also counts as reclaimed. The ring sets those minutes against the session's time away and closes once they match it.
- Time away is any time DoppiNow counts as away from your goal, with or without a reminder. That includes the few seconds before "Not now" at a doorway pause. A glance shorter than 2 seconds, like flicking past a tab, isn't a distraction and takes nothing from the ring.
- Marking the page you're on as "It's related" hands that page's time away back to the ring: it wasn't a distraction after all. Other pages of the same stretch that were a distraction stay away, and then reaching the marked page counts as coming back from them. Otherwise marking isn't coming back, just as it isn't a comeback for the bonus.
- Breaks, free-zone pages and time outside Chrome never count. Reclaimed minutes are part of your focus time, never more.
- The ring always shows, with "Close it by winning back the time a distraction took." under its state line. Under a minute the middle says "<1". With no time away it's full: "Clean run". Away with nothing reclaimed yet it's open: "Come back to close it". Partly: "Keep going to close it". Closed: "Ring closed!", with one small pop and sparkle (none with reduced motion).
Settings: Always on.
Why it helps with ADHD
Progress monitoring improved goal attainment, more so when progress was recorded (Harkin et al. 2016).
No study has tested DoppiNow itself. DoppiNow is a productivity tool, not a treatment for ADHD.

Session recap: common questions
I closed the recap. Can I see it again?
The logbook on your home page (Progress) lists every session: its goal, focus minutes, the minutes it reclaimed, XP and comebacks.
Does "Another voyage" use the same settings?
Yes, the same goal and the same length.
What does the comeback ring mean?
Its minutes are the focus you reclaimed in that session after you came back from a distraction. Close it by winning back the time a distraction took. Drifting happens, and getting back to work is the skill DoppiNow celebrates.
