Completion bonus
The completion bonus is extra XP for letting a timed session reach its end with real focus in it. You get 2 XP for every planned minute, plus 50 XP if you were on related pages for at least 90% of the planned time minus your breaks. A session needs at least half of that time focused to count as completed. Ending early keeps everything you earned and only skips this bonus.

How it works
Let the timer run out
Timed sessions only: 10, 25, 50 or 90 minutes, or any length from the address bar.
2 XP a planned minute
The bonus is 2 XP for every minute you planned.
+50 at 90% focus
Add 50 XP if at least 90% of your planned time, minus breaks, was on related pages. Breaks never count against you.
For example
A fully focused 25-minute session earns a 100 XP bonus (50 + 50).
All the details
Only timed sessions that run out on their own get it: 10, 25, 50 or 90 minutes, or any length started from the address bar. Open-ended sessions don't.
A session counts as completed only if at least half of its planned time, minus breaks, was focused: for example 12ยฝ of 25 minutes, or 10 of 20 after a 5-minute break. Leaving the clock running on a new tab completes nothing.
The bonus is planned minutes ร 2, plus 50 if your focus share is 90% or more. Focus share is focused time divided by the planned time minus your breaks, up to 100%, so a break you take is never held against you. Neutral pages and time outside Chrome aren't focus, so they don't raise it.
A fully focused 10-minute session gets 20 + 50, 25 minutes 50 + 50, 50 minutes 100 + 50 and 90 minutes 180 + 50.
A completed session also counts toward the "Completed" total, the "Complete a session" quest, and the Clean route (90% focus) and Ocean crossing (90-minute session) badges.
Settings: Always on.
Why it helps with ADHD
An adult ADHD programme, tested in an RCT with 88 adults, was built on principles that include "contingent self-reward (e.g., for completing an aversive task)" (Solanto et al. 2010). The bonus is a design choice built on that idea.
No study has tested DoppiNow itself. DoppiNow is a productivity tool, not a treatment for ADHD.

Completion bonus: common questions
Do I lose anything by ending early?
No. You keep all your focus XP, comebacks and boxes. Only the completion bonus needs the timer to run out.
Why don't open-ended sessions get the bonus?
They have no planned length to complete.
Does a 5-minute break cost me the +50?
No. Breaks come off the planned time first: in a 25-minute session with a 5-minute break, 20 focused minutes out of the 20 left is 100%. Neutral pages and time outside Chrome still count against the share.
