Live session view
The live session view is the popup's picture of your session. Your vehicle moves with the clock, checkpoints mark every 5 focused minutes, and the trail behind it honestly shows focus, drift and breaks. A big clock, your combo, your comeback ring and the session's XP sit on top.

How it works
A small world
Your chosen world draws the session: a ship, a craft, a canvas, a startup or a ride.
It moves with the clock
Open-ended sessions travel in 25-minute legs.
Checkpoints
A checkpoint marks every 5 focused minutes.
An honest trail
The trail shows focus, drift and breaks in different colors. Drifting brings fog.
The essentials on top
A big clock, your combo, your live Comeback ring and the sessionโs XP.
All the details
Your chosen world (sea, space, art, business or academic) draws the scene. The vehicle's position is the share of the session's time that has passed. Open-ended sessions travel in 25-minute legs.
Checkpoints you've passed stay where your focus earned them. Upcoming ones show where focusing from now on would reach them.
The trail records each stretch as on course, away, neutral or on a break.
The scene changes with your mood. On course, the flame or color grows with your combo. Drifting brings fog, an off-course tilt, fading colors, a gray haze of chat bubbles or a fog of doodles. Breaks show dusk, a floating dock, a resting tool, a late night at the desk or an evening bench. There are also free-zone and paused moods.
The display on top shows a clock with the time left or elapsed, labelled "left", "elapsed", "break", "paused" or with your world's drift word. Below it, one row holds the combo chip, a live Comeback ring chip (a small ring and "6 min") and "+XP". The ring is full while nothing was away (a clean run), opens up on a drift and closes as the focus after your comeback wins that time back (see Comeback ring); hovering it says "Comeback ring: 6 min reclaimed. Close it by winning back the time a distraction took." It pops once for each comeback and once when the ring closes. On a very narrow screen (under 360 px) it sits just above the row. Underneath is the page you're on, with a related, away or free-zone dot.

Why it helps with ADHD
In 138 randomised studies, monitoring progress improved goal attainment (d = 0.40), and the effect was larger when progress was "physically recorded" (Harkin et al. 2016). The scene itself hasn't been tested.
DoppiNow is a productivity tool, not a treatment for ADHD.

Live session view: common questions
Does the trail hide the times I drifted?
No. It's an honest record: drift shows in a different color, and you can still finish the journey.
Why does my vehicle keep moving while I drift?
It moves with the clock. The trail shows how that time was spent.
