Visual timer

The visual timer is a free web tool on doppinow.com that shows time as a shrinking disc, so you can see how much is left at a glance. It has one-tap pages for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 45 and 60 minutes, and needs no account.

How it works

  1. Pick a time

    5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, or any length from 1 to 360.

  2. Start

Space starts and pauses, R resets and F goes fullscreen.

  3. Watch it shrink

A calm disc shows how much time is left. The tab title shows it too.

  4. An optional chime

A soft chime at the end, off by default. Nothing is sent anywhere.

All the details
  1. Pick 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, or set any length from 1 to 360 on the main timer page. Each preset has its own page you can bookmark.

  2. Controls: Start/Pause, Reset, +1 min and Fullscreen, with keys Space, R and F.

  3. An optional soft chime plays at the end. It's off by default, and the page remembers your choice.

  4. The timer counts from the clock, so it stays right in a background tab, and the tab title shows the time left. It survives a reload and works offline once loaded. Nothing is sent anywhere.

  5. It follows Calm mode and reduced motion.

Settings: On the page: chime and fullscreen.

Why it helps with ADHD

ADDitude's organizing coach advises: "Use a timer that actually shows time moving" (Josel 2021). A CHADD occupational therapist recommends visual timers such as the Time Timer for adults at work (Ly 2024).

No study has tested DoppiNow itself. DoppiNow is a productivity tool, not a treatment for ADHD.
