All the details
In the extension, when your device asks for reduced motion, scenes become still frames and the page ripple never shows. The 3-2-1 numbers are skipped, sparkles and confetti stop, transitions are instant, and the doorway pause hides its ripples.
You can also turn off the page ripple (Settings β Reminders) and on-page celebrations (Settings β Your world) on their own.
On the website, a π Calm toggle in the top bar (and "π Calm mode" in each article's "On this page" card) stops animations and softens colors: the scenes and the home page preview hold still, and sections show at once. It's remembered on this device. Until you choose, it's on only when your device asks for reduced motion. Without Calm, the home page preview plays on its own (with a pause button) while it's on screen.
Keyboard support: Esc minimizes the reminder card, and the doorway pause and popup dialogs keep focus inside them. Dashboard charts work with the arrow keys and can be shown as tables.
