Auto-pause
Auto-pause is how DoppiNow keeps its tracking fair. When Chrome isn't the app in front, or your screen is locked, the session pauses. It picks up again as soon as you're back in a Chrome window.

How it works
Leave Chrome
When no Chrome window is in front, or your screen locks, the session pauses.
Nothing counts
No XP, no away time. The combo freezes and the reminder clock waits.
Sleep gaps
Gaps longer than 2 minutes, like a sleeping computer, are dropped.
Back in Chrome
Tracking resumes right away. Reading without touching the mouse never pauses it.
All the details
The session pauses when no Chrome window has focus or when the screen locks. It resumes when you're back in Chrome. Being active in another app doesn't count.
While paused, you earn no XP and build up no away time, your combo is frozen, and the reminder clock waits.
Gaps of more than 2 minutes between checks, such as when the computer sleeps, are dropped.
The popup shows "Paused". The welcome page says "Tracking resumes when you get back to work in the browser."
A timed session's clock keeps running. An open-ended session more than 12 hours old ends the next time the browser starts.

I work in another app too. Does DoppiNow count that time?
No. DoppiNow only follows work in Chrome, and time in other apps counts as neither focus nor drift.
Does reading without touching the mouse pause my session?
No. Only leaving Chrome or locking the screen pauses it.
